Ok, so I've been on a bit of a Gameboy kick lately - nothing wrong with that!
Anyway, I came across this on Kotaku:
http://kotaku.com/5713194/super-smash-b ... gh-to-work
It's not even real (yet!) and it already looks like it plays better than all of the fighting games on the GB! If this becomes a reality as a ROM or flash game, I'm gonna be all over this!
I'm not even a huge Smash fan - I just love these demakes that artists and indie programmers are putting out!

seriously, I'm blown away at how accurate and smoothly it runs. The midi music is even spot on!

I'd love to see a demake on the SNES. That would be amazing!

It is being made in Game Maker so it will never be ported to anything.

When I was a kid, playing my Game Boy diligently every day on the bus ride home from school, it always baffled me why Nintendo wouldn't make a portable version of Super Smash Brothers. This is a step in the right direction, but I wish there was a real one.

Yeah. Mario Kart has seen 2 portable iterations already and a 3rd is on its way.lisalover1 wrote:When I was a kid, playing my Game Boy diligently every day on the bus ride home from school, it always baffled me why Nintendo wouldn't make a portable version of Super Smash Brothers. Re: Super Smash Land (a demake!)
there was a homebrew GBA game in development called Smash Bros. Advance. However, only a demo exists... I assume the project has been abandoned.
