Saturn 50/60 switch advice

Im looking to add a 50/60 switch to my pal saturn and so far i have found two ways of doing it.

and

both are done on a model 2 board (which mine is) but the monky one looks harder to do (cutting the chip looks hard) though i used his guide for my megadrive with no problems. The 2nd you only have to solder 2 wires to two big pads which should be easy.
Any help would be great from anyone has done these mods

Hi, i have done several system mods through the mmmonkey site. i usually just de-solder the pin from the board and bend it up which i prefer instead of cutting it or if you want to cut it you could use a pair of thin tip tweezers to carefully pull/bend the pin up in the middle a little and then just snip it with finger nail clippers. here's another place for mods. http://www.gamesx.com/
