Mame4all hlp

OK guys i'm on a roll so don't stop my thunder. In mame4all, it says i need to put my roms in the roms folder @ cd root. what's the cd root. 
cd root is not in any folder... so that way any rom folder would be in the lowest directory possible when the disk is inserted.
i.e.
D:\some folder\
place all roms in said folder and it should probably is named 'roms'
