JP Saturn AV Problem 9/20

I rec. a JP Saturn in a lot of JP games. I planned to turn around and sell it since I have 3 already - so before posting it, I of course did a quick check to make sure all was well.

It powers up fine, the lens and motor are working fine (moving back/forth and spinning disc). However, I get no pic on the screen. I tried the a/v cable that came w/it, and then tried my 3 a/v cables that I know work.

The television recognizes that there is a video connection because the "no signal" box on the TV goes away when I turn on power.

I opened her up to see if anything was glaring, gave a gentle clean to the port w/isopropyl alcholo, tried again and no change.

Has anyone had this prob before and more importantly, do they know a solution???

If no one does, I will post it on here in it's present condition.

The only thing diff. about this system than my other systems is it came in a White 100th something or other box. My 3 others were in Red boxes. The ones in red boxes work w/both the grey JP av cables and black us av cables, perhaps on a long shot, this 100th commerative edition only works w/it's specific cable??? Seems odd to go to the trouble of doing that, but perhaps???

ha, I had a white jpn Saturn and had av issues.
To this day I do not know wtf happened, that´s why whenever somebody tries to do rgb stuff with JPN Saturn I try to warn them about something.
The problem I had with the Japanese Saturn is that, the European SCART cable does not work.
I had to rewire the SCART cable.
So to me, the AV pinout seems different on a White jps Saturn (I never had other JPN Saturns, so I really do not know what is going on here)
Weirdness. I sold that Saturn.
