Need help with burning Lunar Silver star story

Hi

I was wonderring if you guys would know the answer to these questions.

Burned Lunar SSS on a regular CD-R the image had been converted to EU
with ConvSCD works fine with emulator.
Disc was burned using DAO.

Why wont the game work on the actual hardware?

burned the image usin TAO, works fine both the emulator and
actual hardware.. strange?

only one thing I've noticed is that everytime an audio track starts I can hear a little "snap" at the begining of the track, this "snap" can also be heared in the emulator aswell.

the "snap" sound cannot be heared at the original MP3 or WAV tracks.

what is goin on?

I used Fireburner to burn the image at TAO, could there be some kind of settings that I need to check out, maybe a different program that can burn as TAO, Nero can only write the image at DAO..
Im suspecting that the problem is with Fireburner since, If I rip the audio tracks from the burned disc, I can also hear the "Snap" sound in the ripped tracks, so the "snap" sound somehow integrates to the audio tracks on the burning process?!

any info would be helpfull

ah, and yes I have a SEGA MEGA CD MODEL 1 Perfect working condition ;)

thank you

-Pete

I've always had problems burning the ISO/MP3 version of Lunar.
I can probably hook you up with a BIN/CUE version

Well, mine is a USA version.
But it should convert if the conversion worked on your ISO/MP3 image.

If I get a chance I will upload the game and post it in the Downloads section

Ok, So I need to Extract the BIN/QUE to ISO and then Change the Region, then again Convert it back to BIN/QUE? Im using scdconv 1.10 wich has worked for all the games I currently have about 10+

The region changer doesn't work with BIN/CUE?
It's been a while since I've changed a Sega CD one, but I would assume it should be able to handle it.

Also burn as slow as you can

No, I dont think that BIN/QUE can be converted straight, the image needs to be .ISO
Do you know any other program that can burn discs at TAO?

im suspecting that FireBurner is causing the audio glitche

Noticed something interesting..

Hi

I was burning Sonic CD pal at DAO and the game was all screwed up, audio was out of sync etc etc..
then I burned the disc with TAO and everything worked like a charm, now why is that?

why everyone is telling us to burn at DAO since SCD doens't like the write format if the disc contains more than 5 audiotracks?!

TIP:

If you cant get a game to work, "audio out of sync game will boot but freezes"
then use TAO as your burning method, it may solve your problem.
