Re: Age Of Empires Promotional Sample
It was a demo of the Age of Empires game (I think produced by Microsoft at first?) which came out in maybe late 90's. It is a historical real time stratgey game similar to Command & Conquer. On the disk you were allowed to play and advance your civilization up to a certain point if I remember correctly.
I too had this disc and then went on to buy the full game. It was superseded by AOE 2 and then 3...both pretty fun. As for the price, cant say it is worth very much especially if it is a time or limited demo.

You can also install that demo from an original game CD so friends could try it out without having the CD.
Thanks everyone...

Re: Age Of Empires Promotional Sample
Sadly the value is very little. PC demos dont go for a whole lot since the full games go for fairly cheap most of the time. Ive never seen a PC game demo go for more than a couple dollars.
