Finished Saturday Night's Main Event. It was pretty good for what it was. Not great, but not bad. 6/10

The World Heavyweight match and opening match between Drew and Sami were good and Cody and KO was ok. Everything else was pretty meh.

I'm calling it. AEW is dead. I'm not saying they are going out of business as that would be stupid. I just mean that the company peaked a long time ago and they will never regain the buzz they once had. I hope I get proven wrong (I really do), but their ratings are in the toilet and their fans have just become delusional, thinking trash like Toni Storm is the answer or that anyone will give a crap if they put the world title on Darby freaking Allin of all people

I don't even want to be a AEW fan anymore given how crazy they've become.

In a few more years they will be what TNA was. Yes, it's happening.

WWE is WWE, annoying as fuck as they have been for years, but they can get away with it because they are the NFL of wrestling. Triple H could be the worst booker on the planet and it wouldn't hurt the company's bottom line. Also, WWE at least TRIES to tell consistent stories, unlike AEW where they just have matches to have matches, as Frankie Kazarian once said. I hate much of WWE's booking and blink and you miss it matches, but they still draw me in with their characters and are vastly superior to AEW in how they utilize their women. I hate to admit it because I hate the guy, but even Punk is behaving which says something about management in WWE versus AEW. They have that dog on a leash and they will pull it if he steps out of line. I've never seen Punk so corporate in his entire career. He's become just as bland and soulless as Cody Rhodes

Also, AEW has killed Ospreay. He has no momentum and feels like just another AEW guy now. Ricochet is already yesterday's news. No one gives a fuck about Mercedes, and I'm starting to forget that Okada even exists. Swerve is mid card again. I think the only people AEW haven't ruined (yet) is Hangman, Bobby Lashley, and Christian and It's sad that the most entertaining thing AEW has going right now is Harley Cameron. That's more of a knock on the company than it is on her. She's talented as hell and pretty too.
