Stupid question, but I need help with an AC adapter.

Post by Michaelthurston »

Alright, so I just bought my First Nintendo Famicom. :)

It didn't come with any AC adapter, but the same seller has a japanese AC adapter going as well, Can I use an American AC adapter? I would think so, because the famicom only needs 10v right?

Or if not, could I plug the Japanese AC adapter in here in america? the Voltage is only 20v higher, would It damage the Adapter?

Thanks guys. :o

The American NES AC Adaptor will work with it perfectly. The US NES AC will work with the AV Famicom as well if you ever get one later.
