hahaha funny man. but anyways, do you mean that the system is shutting down on you? could it be a faulty battery? anyways, i believe that the store you bought the system from should have your purchase on file, you should go to them and tell them your problem and ask if they could find the info and get your receipt. unless someone knows of what's wrong on the forums you should probably ask for a new one. a system that was just bought shouldn't be giving you problems right off the bat.

Don't need warranty, you bought it last week. You (should) have a no quibbles return policy within 14 days. I know we do in the UK. You don't need a receipt, just take it back to the store you bought it from and say it's faulty, they have to give you a replacement. The only exception is if you paid for it with cash, then there is no way to trace your transaction so they will be unwilling to help you.

If you paid cash, and can't find the receipt you can always commit returns fraud, by buying another identical item and then switching the broken for the new one and returning it for a refund. That's a last resort though as it's illegal, even though you haven't done anything wrong like voiding the warranty or accidentally damaging the unit.

Well, I found the reciept...but its the limited edition big boss pack that's a single run, I highly doubt they can just hand me a new one.

i say just go and see, if you wait then you'll never have the chance to get another one. no reason to doubt since you really have nothing to loose by going.

Limited my ass, that's just what they want you to think. Every GameStop store in the greater United States area has two or more in stock as I type for the last few weeks.

It's a PSP, as a rule of thumb they're never out of stock, ever.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS
