That teaser really got me interested. Chris and Jill have always been together, and for the first time their going against each other, not against their will.
Other than wanting to know more about the story, I hope they use the gameplay from pre-RE4. Remember that unreleased build where Leon was in a haunted mansion? Camera was classic fixed angles, but aiming switched you to over-the-shoulder.
And I hope they only use the 3DS capabilities for puzzles. But if they can actually pull off good gameplay with it, then by all means.

I expect it to be an on rails shooter heavy with quick time events, or it could be a digital comic with fancy 3D effects.

Pre RE4 gameplay? No, please... I couldn't stand the series until RE4. The gameplay was slow, clunky, outdated, and l just struggled to maintain interest in any of it. It was like one of those point and click puzzle games on the PC, like Myst or Seventh Guest or something. My personal hope is that RE Revelations will be like RE4 - a 2nd person shooter that's just clunky enough to keep it psychologically scary - without trying to turn it into some action military thing like RE5.

Actual zombies.
I put rocket fuel in my vaccuum and it started a fire in my house. I am so mad at Black & Decker for making a vaccuum that I can't do what I want with.

By pre-RE4, I mean the build that was scrapped and later made into the final game. Guess we can call it RE4 beta? And I don't have a problem with the older game's controls, in fact I'm fine with the whole series.
It's just, if they're making it a real survival horror on the 3DS, they could use the RE4Beta's controls where it had the classic tank movements with an over the shoulder shooting perspective.
Edit-This is what I'm talking about if you forgot or don't know what I'm talking about.

I think that a survival horror on the 3DS would be awesome, and I'm not a fan of survival horror games. If it looks like you're looking into a box with the 3D effects (which it will), I think it would add to the horror aspect tremendously.

This is Capcom though, so we won't know how they'll use the 3d features. Like I said, I'm just hoping they use 3d for puzzles, to make them more interesting.

You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it does.
