Alien Breed is more action than Alien Syndrome. Both Alien Syndromes.

Too bad that Alien Syndrome remake didn't have two stick controls like Robotron.

One of the few reasons to own an Amiga is Alien Breed. So far I don't like the look of the new one.

This is a follow-up to the earlier 3D reboot of Alien Breed.

There was talk of an Alien Breed FPS in 1995 for the Amiga. Was that any good? Was it really that unfeasible for id to consider porting Doom to Amiga?

I loved alien breed back in the day. I have both Alien Breed games for my Amiga, I love the boxart.

I tried the demo of the new one, I wasn't impressed, I like that they've tried to keep it true to the original, but there's just something missing. It doesn't have the right atmosphere.

I think it's fair to say that unless you're looking for a cheap coop game don't bother with this one. Team17 should re-assess their situation in the market because they haven't come up with anything original in almost a decade.

I've been playing this for about a week on the computer. I love it! I have fond memories of playing Alien Breed 1/2 back in the Amiga days....so this is a nice treat.


Already, the game is way better than the original XBLA release. I will say(and this makes me sad...) that the game was definitely designed for controllers. keyboard + mouse work but it's immediately apparent that the aiming mechanic was built around 2 thumbsticks. This graphics(on PC) are REALLY good if your rig can handle it. Particle effects out the wazoo.

No...that's not fair to say. This is a perfect game for fans of the original or people looking for some light isometric shooting fun...the co-op is an extra bonus.
