You know, theoretically, maybe COD and MOH are saved!

Since Respawn has become affiliated with EA, and Bungie with Activision, maybe COD will be saved, and MOH will stop it's downward spiral. You see, EA could have Respawn start making their MOH games for them again. Just think: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault 2. The same could happen with COD. Bungie could take over from Treyarch, and so the series wouldn't be doomed to games at the quality level of Big Red One and COD 3.
I don't know if these things will actually happen, but they could, and that would be great.

don't think the cod games have so much in common with halo. also don't think respawn will want to work on another FPS. then again with a name like that what else will they make.... still they said they'll make a new IP with full rights to that IP belonging to them, so they won't be making any MoH games in the near future.

No.
Both companies (Bungie And REspawn)
Have deals to make their own games, new games. Activision can no make bungie make cod.
Theoretically it can't happen for another 10 years.

Or Bungie and IW could both make Farmville clones to please their new corporate masters.

The resulting Farmville: Legends anime would be epic.

Ooph...good luck. Nobody's been able to make an FPS set in Vietnam and have it do well yet. I'm interested in playing it, but I really wonder how successful it will be, and I'm wondering how they'll go about presenting it.

Respawn would never make more MoH games. Why? Because they're the ones who originally created MoH and then EA did what Activision is doing now. So 2015 Inc. broke up and some of them formed Infinity Ward and then created Call of Duty. These people have made two of the largest FPS series in gaming history and they've been screwed over for the same reasons twice now, which is why their contract with EA now implicitly states that they own all rights to their IP's so that it won't happen again.
Seeing Bungie in cahoots with Activision makes me sad though because it means Activision will make more money and that's something I don't want to happen. Activision's glory days were in the 80's and 90's when they became the first third-party publisher and actually cared about developers. Unfortunately they won't fall for many years or ever because of Blizzard and the amount of money they make from them. So unless the 11 millions subscribers of WoW all quit, everyone boycotts Starcraft 2 and it's 2 expansions (which was one of Activsions money making decisions, instead of just releasing one game with all of it for 50 bucks, no let's charge three times as much) and Diablo 3 whenever that gets released, we're going to continue see quality intellectual properties raped and the markets flooded with silly expansions, sequels and continuations. Just look at Guitar Hero...that franchise saw I think 8 different releases last year (albeit one was called Band Hero and another DJ Hero). Call of Duty will soon be joining that boat (personally I thought that boat was already being boarded with CoD 3 and World at War, but that's just my opinion and I know people disagree).
