Confusion among Scart - Vga cable - Vga Box...

I own a PAL dreamcast and like anyone I would like to make from it the most possible.
Reading racketboy I came across the VGA topic and how it improved graphics.

Now I don't understand if there is a graphic improvement over the composite cable only (red white yellow one) or also over the scart cable too.

If there is a graphic improvement going from scart to Vga connection I would like to understand too the difference between the VGA box and the VGA cable (or maybe I completely misunderstood and you need the both of them to make it work!)

THz for help!

The VGA box allows you flexibility with the VGA connection. It should be the same exact quality as a straight VGA which is pixel perfect, but not color perfect. Definitely better than SCART if you want to see the individual pixels.

With flexibilty you mean the option to switch from VGA to normal without changing cables? (maybe for those games that do not support the VGA.)

Anyway thank you for the answer! You cleared my doubts!
