Wow. I am so excited I just found this new game trailer! I can't believe the incredible effort that Konami appears to have gone into bringing this classic Genesis character back to life in a brand new game!

Its amazing how downloadable content allows us old timers (i'm 25) to have a new experience with an old school character! Everyone please go check out the IGN.com trailer of the new Rocket Knight game coming out soon!

Sorry, the only reason I knew there was another topic was because Rocket Knight is my homeboy. I really hope they don't screw it up too bad, as Rocket Knight is easily one of my favorite Genesis games.
I just played through it not a couple weeks ago too.
The 2 sparkster games didn't really grab me as much for some reason though...

I was about to say the same thing but was looking for the link.

Is it not available for the PC as well? That's the only up to date gaming thing I have around here, handhelds notwithstanding...

i did a search before posting.... so thats odd I didnt find it. Well I am glad to see that some of your guys are as excited as me!

I'm dying for this game.

I've essentially memorized all three of the original games, I played them so damn much. Every once in a while I'll get an itch to play them again, and I'll marathon all three games in one sitting, starting with Rocket Knight Adventures, then SNES Sparkster, then Genesis Sparkster.

Loved all three of them. Just spectacular games. If this new title is even half as good as the originals it'll still be amazing.

I'm especially happy, since this is one of the few retro franchises that I would've killed to have revived, and here they are doing it!

Now I just want somebody over at Sega or something to get to work on a new Tempo game.

so did anybody pick this game up? is it worth purchasing?

I played the demo, and had some problems with the controls. Namely the fact you had to push the directional key and then the boost key to jet, rather then just press both at once. Little pet peeve of mine.
