What Games Would You Most Like To See on the Virtual Console

Post by racketboy »

Nintendo's taking their time with getting all the best games on their online service, so what games would you most like to see on there (assuming you had a Wii)

My picks (off the top of my head) would be
Shining Force
Tetris Attack
Chrono Trigger
Vectorman
Super Mario All-Stars
Ninja Turtles

There so many great games they could have. I would hope eventually for:

N64:
-Perfect Dark (FAR better then Goldeneye in my opinion!)
-Zelda: Orcina/Majora's Mask
-Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire/Rogue Squadron

SNES:
-Super Star Wars Series
-Sunset Riders

Mega Drive:
-Super Battleship
-Vectorman
-Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike Series

32x:
-Star Wars Arcade
-DarXide

Bring out games from more obscure systems - 3DO, Jaguar, CD-i, Virtual Boy, PC-FX, etc. Who knows? mabey they will find success a decade later.

I'm sure I can think of more. And I really don't see why Nintendo won't give us access to the Japanese or European Virtual Stores! Seems silly if I'm willing to buy the games. Region locks DIEEE!!!!!

When Chrono Trigger hits, they could easily get away with charging people $20 for it, as long as it plays flawlessly, unlike that terrible PS1 port. Thankfully, they won't do that.

Castlevania Rondo of Blood...either for this or the 360, I wouldn't care and there had better be a damn good reason for Konami stopping the emulation project...this should be the reason.

tbh, I'd like to see some original content on the VC sometimes soon. Mebe some dojounshi shumps or something. That and like importboy, make everything universal, just one consolidated virtual console for all regions. Hell, mebe translate some of the earlier fire emblem games and bring over the mother games (as mother, NOT earthbound (since that means one edited release instead of 3 originals). Well, maybe keep the name, tho both names don't seem to make sense. :P
