Alpha Protocol

This be the 'official' topic for Obsidian's still-forthcoming Alpha Protocol. I'm reserving judgment until the reviews of course, but in this preview the producer promised subtle ramifications of the decisions being made in the game, whereas the EG hands-on lamented the presentation and the lead character's pompous attitude (too late to fix that ha!).

Good that Sega hasn't taken the Ubiscum DRM route.

Yeah, Alpha Protocol doesn't look that interesting to me, but I hope that more companies follow Sega's lead on a stated time limit for DRM before a removal patch comes out. That's a smart idea.

The game looks interesting. Anything that reminds me of the fantastic FPS/RPG action of Deus Ex is worth a look see.

Reviews look discouraging. Must learn to listen to pessimists more. I imagine it will hit the bargain bins soon enough. WTF is wrong with Obsidian anyway? They had plenty of time you can't fault Sega for that bit.

The reviews don't look great but I may give it a rent or wait till it hits bargain bin since I'm still interested in it.
