What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Frown! Not used to all this snow in Tennessee. Noticed after the last snow fall I had a small crack on 3 of my cars windshields, just sitting in the driveway. of course the insurance company wants a deductible per vehicle, which of course is more $$$ than the windshield. Guess glass isn't made like it used to be lol.

Yea here in Canada we had around 40 cm of snow (almost a foot and a half). It's rare here and I pretty much had to shovel the front yard once every 2 hours. Apparently buses were stuck on the roads for up to 8 hours.

We've been getting absolutely dumped on with snow here in northern Japan too. Had one of the worst drives to work I've had in a while this morning, but thankfully everything went okay and I got where I needed to safe and sound~

They're here to stay now. Especially Bitcoin. There may be a bear market right now, but that happens sometimes. It's a traded commodity like stocks.
I wish that thread wasn't locked now considering what happened today

Yeah this is nothing new, I might buy into this dip actually. All of the market is in the red right now, stocks included.

Yeah, it’s real fun to watch my retirement portfolio right now. The up-side is that I can’t retire for a long time, so this only means so much.

I wish I had the nerve to buy into $TSLA. Saw a dude buy 110k of 980c that expired yesterday on Wallstreetbets, he was in the comments less then 10 min later down 70k.

I almost exclusively stick with index funds for investing. It's not sexy, but I feel like it's secure in the long term. I've been doing it for about a decade so even though things are down, I've still averaged a considerable return!

That's the smart way to go. You won't hit the highest highs, but you also won't hit the lowest lows.
