Emulators with real-time rewind function?

Lately, I've been getting into emulators with a real-time rewinding feature (aka: sands of time

). It's been making my retro gaming experience so much more enjoyable than ever before, so much in fact that I'm currently seeking emulators for several systems that sport this very same feature:
The ones I'm using:
NES & FDS: Nestopia, RetroCopy
SMS/GG/GEN: Gens+ REWiND!, RetroCopy
Sega System E: RetroCopy
I'm trying to find in particular TG16 and GameBoy/Color emulators that can do the same, but no luck as of yet.
Is anyone here aware of more emulators with this feature?
PS: bsnes, ZSNES and VBA don't count, as their rewinding capabilities are regrettably not in real-time.

I can totally get behind this. I currently have Save State and Load State mapped to my L/R buttons on my Saturn pad using Joy2Key for quick access. Being able to rewind would by far less jarring and kind of fun honestly.
Can you increase the rewind speed in Nestopia and Gens?

You can in Nestopia, but not on Gens I'm afraid.

I have NESDS for my Cycloevolution and it lets you do the rewind trick with the R button.
Sands of Super Mario Bros is fun.

I think that this is one of those things that can make emulation shine, when you add awesome features that aren't available on the original hardware. Hopefully we'll start to see more of this in the future (though the emulation scene appears to be slow in general).

What do expect when the guys making these emulators are usually lone-programmers getting paid nothing to do the work aside from a couple of donations once in a blue-moon?

Yeah, it always seems to be that way. Pretty thankless job, too.
