SNK Neo geo Collection Volume 1 for PS2: $5 at toys r us

Picked this up at toys r us (along with spyborgs for wii) both titles were only $5. An awesome deal. I had been wanting to try Top Hunter since I saw it in a magazine 15 or 16 years ago and finally got that chance. I also liked Shock Troopers, a top down rambo style shooter. I'm not familiar with most these games...I've heard of SNK's fighting games before but don't care about fighters...but the $5 was worth it just for the 2 games I've gotten around to playing so far. Might be worth looking for for anyone who's into Neo Geo or is just looking for some old games they've never played before.

That is an awesome deal for SNK Neo-Geo Collection!! A great compilation and I hope to see a Vol.2 that would be great!!

There is a volume 0 coming out soon...I think its SNK Pre Neo Geo though....

Yeah, it looks like SNK has nothing planned to come out for the PS2 again. In fact, it looks like nobody has anything planned for the PS2 that's worth a crap except for Sakura Wars.

Looks like I'll need to import KOF:2002 Ultimate Match, KOF:NESTS, KOF'94 Rebout, KOF NeoWave, KOF:MI Regulation A, and all the other games they'll never bring over. Really need to invest in a PS2 Slim and a flip-top cover.

But yeah, I think the ps2 is finally out of steam. Oh well, great fun while it lasted. There's still tons and tons of amazing games for it I haven't even touched.

....and even for $5 dollars that shitty collection isn't worth it. The emulation is SO bad on some of those titles....
