Two New Wii RPGs Announced: Xenoblade / The Last Story

Wow, didn't see these coming! Xenoblade is a new game from Monolith Soft and The Last Story is being done by Mistwalker.

Yeah, I just read this. Someone on another site noted that Nintendo will probably have a hell of an E3. I can't wait to see what the Last Story is about, there's a lot of potential there. I heard Nintendo is involved in the project. 2010 is shaping up to be a good year for the Wii, these two RPGs along with, Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, Metroid M, Galaxy 2, Sin and Punishment 2, maybe Zelda Wii are all games I'll probably end up owning.

Xenoblade is coming to the US as Monado. I'm a little worried because amazon has the pre-order price as 59.99 and I don't want to start paying that for Wii games. I haven't played any of Mistwalkers other games so I have no idea what to expect from The Last Story.

This definitely make me want a Wii. But really, I just want an awesome RPG on any system. Its been so long since I've been absolutely hooked on one. Maybe I'm just looking back with rose tinted glasses on my youth but the old ones seemed so amazing.

Monado is a xeno game? I t looked cool but it doesn't look like a xeno game. If it is $59.99 it reminds me of the rpgs of the past where they were always the more expensive games. The DS's most expensive games are RPGs too.

I was just reading about this; I would never expected the next Xeno game [if there ever were more of them] would be for the Wii. I was expecting it to be on the PS3. But, I like this better; the more, the merrier. Also, "The Last Story"? Really? Could Sakaguchi not come up with a less original title than that? I mean, he did make Final Fantasy, but come on, it's practically the same name. The game sounds good, though.

When I last heard rumors of Mistwalker announcing a new RPG, Xbox 360 was still mentioned as a platform. I'm wondering if Mistwalker still has plans to develop more games for Microsoft. At this point, I don't think we'll ever see Cry On.
