So...what is the most expensive game you have ever bought?

I spent 115 dollars on Persona Revelations, which didn't come with a manual. I was mad and I didn't think it was worth it. I actually sold it for like 60 dollars later, so I still lost a lot of money. I bought the psp version later after that. My second most expensive game was Suikoden 2. I actually played the first one way back in the days, so I felt like playing the sequels. I remember seeing Suikoden 2 for 20 dollars a couple of times, but I never did buy it cause I had not beaten the first one yet. I really hate the fact that I missed those chances cause I could have saved me some big bucks. Luckily, I spent under 30 dollars on a brand new copy of Persona 2 (yes, a sealed copy) and 100 for Suikoden from the same buyer when they were selling for at least 200 then. Please, go ahead and share your amusing stories.

Oh, man I feel ya on that. I had to shop at flea market for n64 games when I first bought it. It was damn expensive that I felt sorry to ask my poor mother for money. It was even worse with my father cause he'd do anything to make us happy even when he had no money. My father will always try to bargain with the seller no matter what. I stopped buying games for the N64 and didn't start playing games again until very later.

I think I've spent the most on Sega Saturn titles. Saturn games and Neo Geo titles are for the real hardcore collectors out there. Pricey stuff, worth it though, but damn it's just too expensive.

Almost certainly the original PSX Final Fantasy Tactics, about 9 months before they re-released it on the Greatest Hits Range. Paid a pretty penny for Xenogears, too.

Although I bought a whole 386 PC to play Day Of The Tentacle, so distraught was I that Lucasarts were abandoning the Amiga...

Resident Evil 5 SE for $100 after taxes. I've bought around 30 $60 games.
