Buying a SNES

I am thinking about buying a snes. should I buy the original model or should i go for a combo system like the retro duo nes/snes system

If you go to flea markets you can original SNES's really cheap.

I'm not a fan of the Duo systems and think even if you own them, you should still own the original consoles.

Nothing beats the original, bruvtha! Also try the SNES mini, smaller and takes up less space.

The retro duo is ok but if you get the original you can PLAY IT LOUD.

Most clones are composite video only. With a real SNES you can get an S-video cable (same cable for SNES/N64/GC) which looks excellent.

Go for the original.

I'd also suggest an FC3 plus over a duo.

The retro duo is good for snes games, it has a great compatibility rate, also plays pal games, though it has more problems with the pal snes games. The retro duo is not at all good for nes games. Just get a snes.
