Any suggestions for a third party PS3 controller?
Any suggestions for a third party PS3 controller?
I see tons of different choices around ebay and deal extreme. They look exactly like official controllers but Im sure they feel nothing of the sort, but thats ok since my kid will be pounding away on it. Also how many games actually use the sixaxis feature? Seems like only first party games so far, but I really don't have a clue.

None, all the third party controllers minus some like the Nyko Zero Controller ( ) and MadCatz Street Figher Pads/Sticks are pure crap, plain and simple.
This generation with it's proprietary wireless technologies and higher cost consoles has really killed the market for most third parties to produce a controller for any of the newer systems let alone a quality one without Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo's license.

I think I will get some PS2 to USB adapters and use my PS2 controllers for now then. I plan on buying another at some point but I find its more worth my money to get a couple of games instead of a $55 controller. I need some anyway for my arcade sticks.

We have a logitech PS3 controller, it's wireless! Although you have to plug something into the usb slot for it to work. But we use it for gaming all of the time.
Life is as good as your game!

I used a Logitech PS3 controller for a while. It was great - until games started using SixAxis control more. After I got a second Dual Shock, I just sold it to a friend.
