This is uneducated bullshit. That the Dreamcast was a 'flop' at all is a debatable claim, but the biggest flop of the decade? Bigger than N-Gage and Segway? Please. This is disappointing coming from a source like CNet.

I wonder how they measure the size of a flop? Where's their materials and methods section?!

Yeah, I mean it's clearly not a really scientific (or even reasoned) approach. There's no justification for the order or inclusion of most of the products. Pretty lame.

Are you sure they're in order? I'm pretty sure the Gizmondo or the N-Gage were much bigger flops than the Tapwave Zodiac.

It looks like these were in chronological order. And to be fair, they were defining "flop" as "failed to deliver on market promise", which is a critereon that the Dreamcast met.

After going through the list and reading the entries I've come to the conclusion that the list is going from smallest flop to biggest flop starting with the smallest flop at number 1.
