I'm getting ready to put together a contest for the site, but in preparation, I would like everybody to list games that they think are excellent, but haven't received the recognition they deserve (chose 1 to 10 games that haven't been listed yet).

Colony Wars: Red Sun - Improved over the previous two in all ways. I don't care what anybody thinks. Just beat it again a week ago.

Duke Nukem: Time to Kill - Put up with the frame rate and you'll find great level design and typical golden Duke-humor.

Front Mission 3 - Seriously impressive battles. Makes up for lack of tactical depth with a brilliant virtual internet system, and worthwhile mech customization.

Ghost in the Shell - You never leave the Fuchikoma, so thank god it's so fun to pilot. Crawl any surface, decimate all enemies, while listening to some pretty good beats.

Jumping Flash 1 - First person shooter with spring loaded, mile high, triple jumping alongside adorable design and music.

Rogue Trip - The team behind Twisted Metal 1 and 2 kept hold of their great gameplay and dark style, and then upped the insanity dosage.

Syphon Filter 1 - First awesome use of the taser. Gameplay was also highly fluid and responsive, for it's time. Later installments just seemed to lack a certain charm...

Tales of Destiny 2 (Eternia) - Remains the peak of the series. This was the one that got everything right, everything except making a profit that is...

Trap Gunner - plays out as a 3-D version of Spy vs spy, my favorite ps1 game of all time.

Team Buddies - 4-Player overhead shooter, 10 weapons; flamethrowrs, bazookas ect. Tanks, Modpeds, stealth jets, bombers, all otu mayham featuring CTF, deathmatch, and even soccer!

No One Can Stop Mr. Domino - quirky Japanese puzzle game with unique gameplay

Future Cop L.A.P.D - Over head adventure, with tight controls. 2-Player versus features two bases, and your able to create alies (tanks, bombers, planes,) to attack your enemy's base - addictive!!

Psychic Force - The orignal 3-D sky fighter.

Tail Concerto - Cute 3-D Platform Adventure by Atlus. Excellent graphics, playing out similar to Mega Man Legend series. Great anime FMA as well.

Incredible Crisis - Another quirky Mario Party like game with button mashing missions

Speed Power Gunbike - Plays like Saturn's Burning Rangers

Destrega - Very similar to Poy Poy, and Power Stone. 2-Player battle using psychic attacks.

Galerians - 4-CD Horror survial game with a remarkable story. (much from the anime Akira)

Harmful Park - wacky shump

Unholy War - Rare 1v1 fighter, with many unique fighters

Gunner's heaven - Gunstar Heroes clone

Persona series (Persona 2: Eternal Punishment) - excellent RPG

Tales of Destiny - Very good original

Eternal Eyes - Short anime inspired RPG, plays out like Monster Rancher meets Pokemon. Breed monsters, and battle 2-Players. 3-D graphics.

Kartrina - Very good 2-Player turn based RPG

Monterbreeder - Simiar to Pokemon on the PS. Breed monsters.

Well thats all I can think of now :D

Galerians FTW!!!
Also, I can't remember what it's spelled like, kauldelka or something? Idk. But it was the very first...uh, shadow hearts game(before it became shadow hearts)
It was a full 3d Tactical RPG, set in a gothic horror setting.

Guardian Heroes (Saturn)
- The best beat-em-up to date

Spawn: In the Demon's Hand (Dreamcast)
- wow, this game just kciked more ass then I can say. the four player mode was awesome. This is the first time i've ever seen melee and ranged weapons balanced perfictally.

River City Randsom (NES)
- I probbaly am painting my self into a cornor as a beat-em-up fan, but sorry guys, I still bust out this old NES game and knock arround with it.

Dark Earth (PC)
- This is actually an old school PC adventure game. It's kind of a Resident Evil style game set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world.

Ooh.

:) No one picked the real hidden gems...

Strider 2 -- Unprecedented 2D action.

Skullmonkeys -- The spirtual successor to Eartworm Jim from its creator, Doug TeNapel.

Silent Bomber -- If this isn't the best 3D action game on the Playstation, then it's without a doubt the top candidate. Of course, no one played it.

oo! I forgot to mention Silent Bomber! Excellent title. Skullmonkys, and Strider 2 aren't too rare; my local blockbusters used to carry them.
