I'm getting ready to put together a contest for the site, but in preparation, I would like everybody to list games that they think are excellent, but haven't received the recognition they deserve (chose 1 to 10 games that haven't been listed yet).
Please post the titles below and once the contest kicks off, you will have an opportunity to tell why the games are deserving in order to have a chance at winning some great prizes.
Here's the list so far:
Ogre Battle
Shadowrun
Aerobiz Supersonic
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2
Rock 'n Roll Racing
King of Monsters
Super Baseball 2020
Metal Marines
Plok
Uniracers
Metal Warriors
Secret of Mana
Terranigma
Tales of Phantasia
Star Ocean
Claymates

Metal Warriors - One of my all time favorite SNES titles. Missions are challenging, and the most interesting part of this game is your able to get out of your mobile suit and fly around as a human and join in another mobile suit near by! Also features a awesome 2-player verses mode, in which I spent hours on!
Secret of Mana - first of the mana series; classic. keeping the traditional graphics and fighting scheme.
Terranigma - action RPG styled game, features an great story in which was overlooked!
Tales of Phantasia - First of the Tales series, with excellent graphics.
Star Ocean - The original never made it too the us, but the US patch is floating around the web somewhere. Great gameplay as the squeals, also impressive CGI for a SNES title!
I'll update when I think of more!

Claymates was one of my favorites back in the day, and I still love it. Very good concept, you start off as a ball of clay then as you get different colored balls of clay you change into different animals and you need to become different animals for different situations...thats alot of differents

I recommend this game to everyone.

late again, haha. like with the n64 post i just made, i think mystical ninja for snes was highly underrated. only the first snes one was released stateside but there's 4 i believe on super famicom in japan. anyway, the first one is really fun - it's kinda bemup + rpg mixed together, maybe zelda meets final fight? you should definitely play it if you haven't before.

RB, I am absolutely loving your hidden gem articles. They really are game journalism at its finest.

Thanks

Not sure if I'd call it journalism, but they are fun
