do wiimote battery packs fit & work in a wavebird?

today i found a wavebird for a buck at the flea market
but it had no battery cover
would a wiimote battery pack fit and work in a ntsc wavebird?

There's no such thing as an "NTSC Wavebird"...

NTSC is for video signals.

Without a dongle that Wavebird is completely useless. If you were to buy another Wavebird with a dongle you can't use two at a time, you'll only be able to use one or the other.

You might as well throw it away, unless you can somehow get a dongle for cheap.

I fail to comprehend how you thought that a Wii battery cover would even work on a wavebird. The Wii remote battery compartment (and cover) is nearly twice as large as the wavebird's.
