Actually was pretty good. Nicely constructed and had a few tidbits in there I hadnt read elsewhere. Also had a good use of quotes from former execs.

Wow I really enjoyed it, I got kinda choked up at the end lol. Whoever wrote that is obviously a sega fan. I also liked that they didn't bash the Sega CD, as most sites unfairly do.

It's too bad a company like SEGA failed. I used to think it was a mediocre company until I looked around me in an arcade and realized all the good games where from SEGA.

However, it seems to me they are not as shovel-happy as before and that they are printing pretty good titles. Am I wrong?

But alas, they still put a lot of crap XD

Yeah, I saw that on Digg too. Almost posted it here, but decided I was too lazy.

Makes me sad to relive the death of SEGA's consoles.

Good article.

To me, SEGA is a testament to the failed corporate culture that is all too prevalent in today's world (the part where the text explains that SEGA Japan was looking for some optimistic dude that would make their dreams fly instead of a pragmatic realist made me particularly sick).

Imagine how different things may have been had the Sega-Sony joint project worked. I'm curious if Sony would have ever gone out on their own. They obviously wanted to get into the industry, trying to work with both Sega and Nintendo.
