What kind of paintball gun should I get? Hello, I'm relatively new to paintballing. However, as of late, I've found myself paintballing twice a month. To be quite frank, I'm tired of the rental guns, and I want to buy my own, but I'm in a dilemma. I don't know what type of gun to buy. I'm willing to spend about $350 for a gun, what is the best type of gun I can get for my money?

Re: gun
I agree, I know this is the "whatever" board, but your first post is about paintballing. You do know this site is about retro videogames, right?
More on topic, I've only been paintballing once, so I have no clue. Sorry...

Re: gun
Yeah, a paintball RPG. For sure.
Re: gun
Get two, then you can jump out of cover, firing both guns wildly at the enemy, scream, and be hit by 30 paintballs from the guy with more money than sense who has a paintball sniper rifle!
Moral of the story, never buy stuff like this, coz there will always be some fucker who has a bigger, better, more expensive one who will beat you no matter how good you are.

Re: gun
One of these:
In all seriousness, just buy a spyder 2 and a barrel, hopper, and tank that fits your game style. The hoppers and tanks are mostly the same but how they connect (vertical or horizontal) is the main concern.
I would suggest a Raptor Extreme but they don’t make them any more and most places don’t let you use the full auto option anymore…
In my defense I lived next to a “semi pro” paintball player in college and while he talked about his toy guns, his roommate, a Marine, and I talked about real ones. My coworkers are also "gearing" up for a paintball game between departments in the near future and I was told I cannot play for reasons I dont understand. Mention once that you were going to build a grenade launcher and they get all pissy...

Ack, that's not retro enough. If we're going to steer this thread on topic there's only one game that can do the job:
