Really, that's it? 3 games?

I think it's worth mentioning that Shining Force Central is working on translating Scenario 2 and 3. That list only shows the Premium Disk, as that is the only thing they have 100% done so far. Scenario 2, from what I read, is pretty much done. I think the entire story is translated, there's just a few things left like bookshelf text and some random people in towns.

Yeah, it's a couple of random things in Sc2 that aren't translated. And it also hasn't been proofread and edited yet.

Really?
I was sure Scenario 2 had been 100% translated months ago.

It's usually listed as 99% translated, but still needs editing/proofreading. So it's good enough for someone to play through entirely and understand everything, but there will be funny typos.

The Shining Force III translations are a consistent reminder to me of the amazing devotion of the translators and hackers that go into getting games translated. I seem to remember to check on the Shining Force III translations every year or two, for well over five years now I think, and they're ALWAYS slowly progressing on the end goal. I always dread that the project will have died, but they strive on.

Same here man.

I've always said, I WISH I knew how to do that kind of stuff. I'd be translating left and right, doing mods, etc.

Well, I doubt the people working on these projects were born with the knowledge on how to do it. Everyone has to start somewhere, and if it's really something you're interested in, there's a plethora of information to get you started.
