Ok I know this is not underground gamer
and that I should ask this question on their website
but I am trying to avoid all the "noob" and sarcastic comments

I downloaded street fighter alpha for dreamcast, I want to check the game out
when I got all the files(you know the 001,002,003 ones) , and tried to run them in winrar(also unrar on mac) it says its either corrupted or it just does not work. I tried looking at the file sizes and did the checksum thing, everything seems all right. I did try a game before and it worked, its not working with this one.

Is it possible that the files from the torrent are corrupted, and its no use to do download again? Or am I doing something wrong?

and ill just throw this question in, is it normal to seed for 22 min and not upload 1B? not 1 kb, but 1B

As for the seeding question, there's lots of threads on here about the issue and ways to solve it.

If you haven't uploaded anything the main reason is because people simply don't want the files you have. Try a torrent popular with leechers. Also, make sure you are connectable. There's a big guide on there on how to become connectable. Read it. if you can't find it, click the yellow sad face next to your username at the top of the page.

One of the ways that I have brought up my ratio is to go to a highly desired megatorrent and download a few choice files. Case in point, I went with the Playstation S Collection and downloaded Suikoden and Suikoden II. Considering the praise and high price tag for the Suikoden games, they are always wanted.

But this may not be the information that you wanted. For large files that are broken down into r01, r02 and such, download the entire file and use WinRar to extract the first file. Specifically WinRar and specifically the first file. If it works properly, WinRar will know to decompress all the files and assemble them in order.

If I was off the mark in giving you the info you wanted, I hope someone else can help you out.

Do a force recheck in your torrent client to check if you actually have all the files entirely downloaded. Sometimes it says 100% when it isn't really for some reason.

I know all about the ratio stuff
but I am not uploading 1B, I am afraid that I keep my pc on to seed and in the end its something technical not because no one wants my files.

So you all suggest that I redownload the game, and it will work?
I am seeding right now and it checked it 100% and started seeding. I just don't want to download again and find it not working, because you know how hard it is to make up 600mb in ratio at underground gamer(specially when your dsl connection is only 1mb)

Do what t0yrobo said. Force you client to recheck the files, if the hash check returns 100% then you have downloaded the files that are available and it is the torrent that is at fault. Try PMing somebody else who has downloaded the torrent and ask them if their version of it is faulty. If their version is faulty too, then you should PM the torrent creator and advise them that there is a corrupt file in there somewhere which he will need to rectify.

Stop torrent (don't pause it), right click torrent, click Force Re-Check.
