del taco
Re: del taco
I hate double posts.
All the del tacos left our locale. I never got to try it, but I'm a big fan of taco bell.

Re: del taco
There's a place called Casa Del Taco in a city not too far from here... they're quite a bit like Taco Bell only lower quality. I hope this Del Taco you speak of is better than what comes to my mind.

Re: del taco
Meh...
Del Taco is a west coast fast food joint. The only time I ever ate it was when I was staying in Los Angeles. And well I'm a HUGE Mexican food fan. Why in God's name would I be eating cheap faux mexican food from a fast food joint, when all of southern California is paved in REAL Mexican restaurants????
So no... I don't like Del Taco. Though they do give far more meat the Taco Bell. But is that really a good thing!????

I think I ate at one a few years back when I was in California. I don't remember being impressed.

Re: del taco
Why in the hell do these things exist in Cali!? I love the (very) few traditional taco stands we have around the Columbus (Ohio) area, but I know people that live in California and they say that there are taco carts, stands, and trucks all over the place. I can understand one of these crappy restaurants existing here, but there... I think Californians might be more screwed up than I first believed.

Re: del taco
OH THAT THEY ARE!!!!
To tell you the truth though most of them don't do very well.
I lived in Encino and from my house several taco stands were a walk from me. But the nearest Taco Bell was a car ride down to Ventura Blvd and head towards Sherman Oaks. Very few Taco Bells if I recall correctly.
So yeah, they don't perform to well.
Del Taco I saw more often, over in Burbank where I worked there was one near by. But that was in the middle of industrial land... so it kind of made more sense I guess. Fast food for someone who needed to run in and out.
