Yes to both? I certainly think the series has improved, but it's still pretty much the same basic concept. There are a few less riddles and more logic and math puzzles as it progresses too.Razzmatazz wrote: Are the sequels any better or the same with more puzzles?
Re: What are you playing?
Started up Shenmue 2 (Xbox) today after I finished Shenmue earlier this week. The sequel has so many different features that I didn't remember. It's been 8 years but I'm gonna go through it again!

Not yet, lets just say that now I realized that I fucked up on the Crystarium and thankfully I have another save.Gamerforlife wrote:Something tells me you've hit Gran PulseKillerJuan77 wrote:I've been playing FFXIII, some stupid difficulty spike slowed me down so I'm going to grind for a while.

Pushing my way through Alundra. I'm at Nirude's Lair and the game is really starting to drag. I told myself I'd finally finish this game after multiple failed attempts over the past decade or so...

Started up Fallout 3. Something about the series just makes me feel so good while I'm playing, and even when I'm done.

Re: What are you playing?
I managed to get my PS3 controller working with my laptop, so I fired up MAME and just messed around with some random arcade beat 'em ups and had lots of fun. I have a bunch of roms that won't run on the latest version of MAME though. I wish I knew why. It's really annoying that I can't play stuff like Cadillacs vs Dinosaurs, Battletoads or Ninja Baseball Bat Man.

Even with all the disappointment of no Shenmue 3, Shenmue 2 is still a great play. You'll have a blast, and stay away from any faq's.Blu wrote:Started up Shenmue 2 (Xbox) today after I finished Shenmue earlier this week. Scott Pilgrim of all things. I was never too high on that game, but some friends got me playing it again and I'm kind of warming up to it more
I also downloaded Fez, and am spending some time with Streets of Fury. I'm really enjoying the quick, pick up and play nature of all these digital download games I'm playing lately
