Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Personally, I would save it 'til the fall and use it to get GTA 5, but then I'm a big fan of that series, so that would be a no-brainer. If you're not interested in that, I would use it to get a discount on the Star Wars bluray set if you don't already have it.Flake wrote:Smile: Got a $50 debit card from my bank for using my credit card today. Awesome man! I was gonna start biking to work, but the only way I have is either a super busy highway where everybody speeds, or a two lane country road with no shoulder that is used about as much as the highway. The town I live in would be perfect if it had more bicycle tolerance.flex wood wrote:SMILE: I just got a call for an interview tomorrow. It's a part time warehouse job at bicycle parts distribution center. I'm excited and hope I get the job. On top of an awesome hourly wage they also give a credit to be used on bike parts for biking to work or carpooling, and the discount you get as an employee is insane.

Smile/Frown: Bought a new bed today. Tempurpedic. WAAAAY too expensive, but the wife wanted it. And they are pretty nice.
Smile: I got a new (to me) snare drum! It's a 13" Tama. It's pretty awesome! It was only $135 and it came with a snare bag. Practiced with it tonite and I got TONS of blisters on my hands. It hurst to type this! I love playing drums.

Also means you probably have to drop over $200 on a tux rental. And usually that tux is worth $50 and the shoes look like ass.Retronomy wrote:Smile: My best friend is getting married.

I highly suggest buying a tux if you can afford it. Most tux's match, and all you have to rent in the future is usually a vest. Plus, you never know when you might need a tux. Corporate functions, white glove events, or maybe you just want to dress up like 007 for no particular reason.
Smile: 4 Year Anniversary today. Really looking forward to dinner and a night without television. Music, dancing, candlelight, wine, presents. All good stuff.
Frown: Planned on making Paella, but it's just not feasible to make it for two. I'll probably cook some type of mollusk instead.

Ehh many weddings don't require tuxes for the guests. For those in the wedding sure. But the one I am going to has a business casual dress setting.
