How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Any one plays his SNES on an HDTV? How is the experience?
Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Onto the Sigma Dr. Doppler stuff in MMX3. Some of the boss fights really get old. I love the mid-air dash but to have almost every boss fight consist of "climb up the wall, dash over him" really gets old. Also, holy crap I had a hard time beating Bit. That took at least 20 lives.
I really like the idea of ride armor, but it's a big missed opportunity IMO. You can't even get most of them until you've already beaten all the mavericks, so what's the point? They should've made them available and easy to find right from the get-go. That also would've curbed some of the difficulty.
Does anyone have a designated place to grind to fill up the sub-tanks?

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
So I got this in the mail yesterday:
My first ever Super Famicom game. Got it for just over 9 dollars (that included shipping). Sorry if the photo looks kinda weirdly colored, I had to brighten it up because my EnV3 can't take a decent picture of anything in my room in the daytime. Thank you Microsoft Office Picture Manager!
Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?
Well I just ordered my SNES even though i'm probably going to regret it for a bit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131140300310?ss ... 1439.l2649 so right now the library isn't going to well. I plan to populate it with some carts from one of the local stores(especially their repro carts they have)...and if I can swing it next month I'm going to try and get the repro cart for earthbound zero since I keep hearing things about that series....

You're telling me, I just found this post when I was searching of W&W on the forum and i have to admit, it's maybe a 3/5. But I do have to get it that it's a little tough and the stuff you mentioned. Though almost every game I own for NES is that single sitting game thing...which blows me away since almost every game I've played up to this point in my life has had a save feature or at least a password feature...now I know why I've heard of this one...it's decent but not the best...prfsnl_gmr wrote:The Gameboy version never clicked with me...fastbilly1 wrote:Wizards and Warriors never clicked for me. Admittedly, it is no masterpiece (and my wife thinks it has the most annoying sound track on the NES). I liked exploring the levels for keys, treasure chests, and items - it is almost a Metroid game - and the continue system makes the game very easy. (You do have to beat it in a single sitting, however, since there is no password or save system.) I also liked the large unique bosses, the scantily-clad princesses, and each of the differently themed, well-rendered levels.

I used to have a pretty extensive collection but sold the games sporadically when I was in university, I only have three cartridges left but no system to play them on

At least you got some of the rarer games, so you don't have to worry about taking out a small loan if you want to start collecting again.

Heh that's better than mine right now(which is none) especially since I keep hearing people talk about those three all the time. I especially need to play the first one since I love the m&l series XDPinkPanzer wrote:I used to have a pretty extensive collection but sold the games sporadically when I was in university, I only have three cartridges left but no system to play them on
