What are you eating?

Nope, it gives you a ton of options all at once and assuming you are concerned about eating healthy "all you can eat" means you can eat the amounts you need/allot yourself each time you are there. Some days I need more proteins and caloric intake, some days I just want a lot of greens and nutrients.

Would some people not be able to control themselves and eat stupid amounts like at every other buffet? Of course, doesn't mean the rest of us can't benefit from a place such as that.

I'm not sure how a normal restaurant doesn't serve those needs. Get a roast beef sandwich on protein days and a salad on veggie days.

Dude, I lived in or around that town of 45,000 for 19 years, and my parents for 2 years longer than that. I can assure you as a doughnut lover that that place simply does not exist.

When I was little and my parents were still working on building the house they're in now, we'd drive through Brazoria, Texas every Saturday and Sunday on the way to the lot. Brazoria had a whopping population of 3019 in 2010, many years past when we drove through weekly. The Yellow Pages seems to show it is still there, if that's the same place. I can't remember the name. It appears there is a kolache shop too. If a tiny town can support both of those and a grocery store, I find it hard to believe there are no donuts available that aren't from a grocery store in a city that has 15 times the population.

I'd like it to be a buffet for the reasons of one flat rate being charged, a convenience that a restaurant will not be able to match. Being able to control EXACTLY how much I get of each individual component of the dish I create (another thing a restaurant will not be able or willing to match), a ton of options every day on whatever variety of food I want without having to order entire MEALS at FULL menu prices.

and geez man, Health food doesn't = salad only. C'mon now.

That strawberry one at the bottom looks amazing. I don't think we have any of that around here that I've seen. There are several European delis that have opened recently that I haven't been to, so maybe they have them there.

Yeah the European delis around here usually have piroshky's and other delights from abroad. I wouldn't call em fancy, they're kind of like a convenience store or small market, so I could totally see them having street food or other common bakery items.
