Tell me about it, Im still trying to find a dvd of The London Connection (aka the Omega Connection). It was a Disney film from 79 that was campy and silly, but we watched alot growing up. It was a super limited release, region 2 only, and word is, only for sale via Disney stores. Its rare enough that I cant even find a dvd rip of it, just bad VHS rips.Luke wrote:Limited releases stink of something awful.

Yeah, those two films: Omega Connection and Condorman, were put in the vault and they threw away the key.
On the side, any of you British users ever find the dvd, I will gladly pay you back.

greatest Thanksgiving movie ever? I believe so. You laugh hysterically for 98% and then feel like crying like a baby at the end. John Hughes ruled.

The black hole. . . Well, some of it. I'm always hearing people talk about how they saw this as a kid, and that max rivaled darth vader, it's as good as star wars, etc.
It was boring as shit. I made it through 30 minutes before I had to start the fast forwarding process. The only character whose name I remembered was the robot, vincent.
Paper thin characters, crappy acting, no real action til an hour in. . . But fantastic special effects. I kept hoping they could save it, but it was not to be. This felt like a movie written by someone who wasn't into sci fi.

Does Uncle Buck count as a holiday movie? Because I hold it in the same regard as I do this one.

Me and my wife were talking about that last night, but couldn't think of any actual holiday in the movie.BurningDoom wrote: Does Uncle Buck count as a holiday movie? Because I hold it in the same regard as I do this one.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Pretty sure there's no mention of a holiday in it, but there is no snow (that I remember) and everyone's wearing sweaters and winter coats. So, conceivably, you could consider it a holiday movie as long as your criteria for a holiday movie doesn't require seeing any snow.noiseredux wrote:Me and my wife were talking about that last night, but couldn't think of any actual holiday in the movie.BurningDoom wrote: Does Uncle Buck count as a holiday movie?
