Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Found my first two Neo Geo games at a gamesplus store: Alpha Mission II and Ghost Pilots for $20. But who bought Magician Lord from them the day before?! Hobie?! 8bit?! I want answers!

Ikaruga and Border Down would be better. JSR, SFIII 3rd, MvC2, CvSNK2, MotW, Mars Matrix, Gunbird2, Twinkle Star Sprites and SFZ3 are all better as well.
I found Lolo 3 on NES today (loose) for $10. Is that good? It seems to me that is a bit of an expensive game.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I think that PSO is >>> than Border Down or Ikaruga.
Comparing all those shmups and fighting games to an online action rpg is kinda silly, but I would take it over all of those but Gunbird 2.
Then again, I only really play the GC version of PSO, since it has split screen, so I guess that might bump it down underneath Ikaruga. I thought Border Down was kinda boring.
Oh, and there should be a cool "Find" going here, but the Craigslist seller is extreamly slow in responding to me.

Not me. I just go to the Games+ that's up at Highway 6 and 529. I haven't been in over a month though.JoeAwesome wrote:Found my first two Neo Geo games at a gamesplus store: Alpha Mission II and Ghost Pilots for $20. ^Neo Geo CD / AES / or MVS? Those two are sort of anomalies in that their AES versions are found cheaper than their MVS cohorts.
I had a pretty decent haul the last 2 days:
Rumble Fish ATOMISWAVE (replaced the boot I had - AO trade)
Shikigami II LE DC - MINTY (shmups trade)
Steam Hearts SAT-J (racket trade)
Ikaruga DC-J (racket trade)
Nightmare Busters SNES REPRO (purchase)
Bio-Metal (racket trade)

That's fair. They are completely different types of games. I just had to get my bit in there.dunpeal2064 wrote:I think that PSO is >>> than Border Do, wn or Ikaruga.
Haha, that's the last one I thought someone would take out of the ones I listed.Comparing all those shmups and fighting games to an online action rpg is kinda silly, but I would take it over all of those but Gunbird 2.
I picked up a silver Gamecube with all regular hook-ups, a memory card and two regular silver controllers all in nice condition today for $10.
I have never had a Gamecube before (believe it or not!), but I could not resist this deal. This was at a Value Village, which would be similar to Goodwill that a lot of you are familiar with. The included controllers were really the selling point for me, since I have never had a GCN controller before and kind of want to see how it works with the Wii. I then went to the local used electronics shop that has quite a few games and picked up Super Mario Sunshine for $15 (not really a great deal, but I wanted a decent GCN game to use on the system. The only other decent games there were Super Monkey Ball 2 ($10), Crazy Taxi ($10), Viewtiful Joe 2 ($10), 18 Wheeler ($7), Resident Evil 4 ($20) and Super Smash Bros. Brawl ($25). Everything else was mostly sports titles or licensed stuff that I don't care about. I'm really not that interested in the GCN, but there at least up to a dozen titles I'm interested in. For those curious, and for me fishing for a few "must have" suggestions, I'm interested in:
I for sure what:
Luigi's Mansion
F-Zero GX
Wave Race: Blue Storm
The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
Super Monkey Ball (I'd prefer the first one, just because)
Pikmin (I'd prefer the first one)
I will pick up if I find for cheap:
Metroid Prime 1 & 2
Sonic Heroes
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Resident Evil 4
That's about it! If a game is also on the Dreamcast, I would rather have the DC version. I'm fanboyish in that way. I don't really care about RPGs or shoot 'em ups on the GCN. I just want the fun and easy to play or "must have N-games", and that's it. I'd rather Sonic Heroes on the GCN because it's a mascot game and it just "feels" right on a Nintendo system.
Nice to know that I picked up Lolo 3 for half price. I sold it and RR to a friend because I am being extremely picky in my collecting (as you can see above).
