Yeah, but at the same time it's like Indiana and Ohio succeeding and taking over all of America. It just ain't happening.MrPopo wrote: North Korea is the only nation antagonistic enough and militaristic enough to even approach the realm of credibility.
When the N.Korean paratroopers come on screen, you're like "Oh man, there must be hundreds, maybe a thousand of them...Wait. This is how you occupy America?".

I actually just made my girlfriend watch sinister with me last night. She thought it was really scary.elmagicochrisg wrote:
Some pretty disturbing images and sounds in this movie...
Must-see for horror fans...
The main reason I wanted to make her watch it was because she has never been in the attic of the house she bought...

At the beginning I thought this was a B-Rated movie but as it progressed it got better and better... This is one of the most surprisingly movies I've seen in recent memory and probably one of the best recent sports films as well... I enjoyed this as much if not more than Moneyball and that's saying something.. Easily Sean William Scott's best role..

THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY
The retailers must be crazy. Over $200 for a new Blu-Ray? It's FRIGHT NIGHT all over again.
Really wanted to buy this for my wife's birthday, but a used DVD is over $25. Used movie for me, no problem, but I don't want to get my wife a used gift.
Oh, and if you didn't already know, TGMBC is fantastic.

Is it a rare Bluray or something? I agree it's an awesome flick, but really?

Happens all the time with small print runs. Before the reprint of the Sting in 2005, the white boxed version of the dvd went for $300 all day long. Heck the region 1 release of Condorman still does. Luckily I found a copy of One, Two, Three on dvd for sub $50 to give to my wife a couple months ago.indecks wrote:Luke wrote:THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY

Thanks man.
Limited releases stink of something awful.

I don't touch the aftermarket prices of 'limited' movie releases in general. Unless it's a dead format, the movie will most likely get re-released at some point down the road.
