How's Brandish workin' out for you? Did you have to actually get drunk to tolerate it?SNESdrunk wrote:Pffft, I'm tackling Brandish right now, son. 7th Saga will be a warm welcome after this bastard.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Still avoiding The 7th Saga I see? It's okay. Most people can't handle it.

No need, I feel drunk playing that game anyway because of how disorienting everything isBoneSnapDeez wrote:How's Brandish workin' out for you? Re: SNESdrunk reviews
I can happily say I've beaten several of those games. There are a few that I don't consider that hard, like Donkey Kong Country 3. I realize mileage may vary, but I didn't have too many issues with that lightning level. The reversed controls one though...yeah, no. I hate when games do that. I really need to get back to Lion King some time though. I've only played it once...SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, January 12, 2016 - 13 Hardest Super Nintendo Games
But I highly agree on the inclusion of ActRaiser 2 and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs. You didn't even show off the weird tram race level that comes after the snakes in Battlemaniacs, but believe me, it's brutal. I have no idea even how to go about beating it.
Needs more 7th Saga.
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
I almost included 7th Saga and Pilotwings

"Just pretty good," is how I define the Sonic Advance series as well. Though it gets better as it goes along and the DS games are probably the height of the Dimps developed games for me.
The handheld Sonics aren't classics but they continue in the spirit of the originals and they're fun. I like them.

I never gave them much of a chance, but they certainly look better than the Game Gear games!

Sonic 1 on Game Gear and Master System is a pleasant little platformer developed by Ancient. The rest of the 8-bit Sonics by Aspect leave a lot to be desired.Ziggy587 wrote:I never gave them much of a chance, but they certainly look better than the Game Gear games!

It's not really the same on the GG as it is on the SMS though, right?Gunstar Green wrote:Sonic 1 on Game Gear and Master System is a pleasant little platformer developed by Ancient.
