Very much enjoying this game. Love the "feel" of it as well as the scoring mechanism.

At end of day 1 I can get 214 million after mid-boss on level 2, so I need to work on my survival!

So far I think my best has been about 290 million on Stage 1 and about 410 million in total after Stage 2. Still not scoring very highly on Stage 3, though. Needs more practice...

Not very good at surviving. Must play some more and ignore score so I can learn the survival in stage 2 and beyond. Got killed in this run just into level 2 - not even at mid-boss! Gah...

I put some time into Homura today. This game is shit tons of hard. I have stage 1 down pretty well, but I still take stupid deaths against the boss, and stage 2 is just stupid. (I really don't like stage 2.) I happened to make it through stage 1 on this run without any misses, and decent scoring for a stage score of 210 million, but I ended up with a score that only beat out my previous high score by 3 million—. I still haven't seen past the stage 2 mid-boss, as well.

Not sure if I'll really be motivated to pick this one up again this month. I like the combo scoring, but I dislike the additional kill percentage bonuses, and the bullet patterns just aren't doing it for me. Too much commotion. Feels too much like an indie homebrew game, to me.
