Ohh I see. I wouldn't do that no way but was just curious. Thats all. I wouldn't want to get back into the Wii. Had it, owned the great games and WiiWare titles, moved on.

Gunblade NYC & LA Machine Guns has been converted at gamestop from new to used, if anyone was looking for it.

I think it's interesting how much a copy of Bully is (and has been for a while) on Amazon. Even "like new" copies seem to be holding at 22...25 dollars. If I was a Wii collector, I would certainly try and pin down a clean copy of its and be sure it came with the original large map insert. Another I'd suggest a Wii fan seriously consider if he/she sees it in the wild is Mario and Sonic London Olympics. I don't know when the price will crash on that, but it's been strong for a while. Naturally, confirm it's in its original bright yellow case.

I just nabbed a copy of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for $5. I don't collect DB games but this one seems to be a desirable Wii title, based on the going rate. Does anybody know why this game holds it's value? Maybe a late entry that didn't sell well?

got mine for $5 as well. don't know why it holds its value, but the ps2 has greatest hits version and its still expensive.

on a side note a friend got me New U Body Yoga Pilates Workout used from gamestop for $9, it was only 1 within 100 miles around me.

I just had this conversation yesterday with my friend, Kevin, who owns Pixel Nation Retro Video Game Store. I thought he might have some insight. He didn't have any reasonable answer either. He guessed it must have sold fewer copies than the other Tenkaichi games, but didn't know for certain. Ayone know a good resource for print run / sales numbers of video games?

Nah, the market is flooded with DBZ merchandise. The other DBZ video games aren't half as expensive as Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

http://videogames.pricecharting.com/sea ... &submit=Go
VGPC shows forty-two DBZ games. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for wii is thirty-eight dollars, and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for PS2 is forty-six dollars. No other DBZ games pass the thirty dollar mark. Only a few are greater than twenty dollars.

Dang everytime someone mentions that I immediately look to y shelf and remember that I don't have tenkaichi it's just regular budokai 3...(I had one for the wii at one point but I hope I didn't sell it when i was younger and didn't have a lot of money for something else like I really used to do...)

Re: Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi

Supposedly, the game had a relatively small printing before the Dragon Ball Z license changed hands. So it's a somewhat rare, well regarded, licensed game that seems unlikely to be reprinted in the future and has gained a reputation as a collector's item.
