In a word: idiotic.

I've heard the books are worse. Wow.
From what my mom has told me (she's read the trilogy) the last book gets preachy at the end, on top of everything else.

Hilarious, surprisingly heartwarming, and the CGI was insanely well-animated. The film trips over it's own ridiculousness a couple times, and the pop culture jokes run pretty thin near the end, but I'd say overall the writing is solid.

I'm not much of a fan of Seth's shows, but I'd check out another film from him in a heartbeat. It's been a while since a new comedy film has made me laugh so much.
yeah it was better than i thought it was going to be. i was a flash gordon fan back in the day so that part was awesome. still i think wahlberg was funnier in the other guys.

Can't say it was a bad movie. Just very confusing...

Still, very impressive and very ambitious for such a low budget indie sci-fi movie.

Give it a try. You might like it. Or not...

Nice little detail: this was actually a Kickstarter project back in 2010...

Black Swan (2010) - This movie was trash...complete and utter trash...and I loved every minute of it! I went in knowing that it had gathered some Oscar nominations, and also that it was complete trash:

I was just not prepared for the extent of its trashiness. Needless to say, I was blown away. If you have a spare bottle of alcohol and 108 minutes, you cannot ask for a better film experience.

I have those exact same feelings towards The Wicker Man (2005)..

If I was a cop, I would give this a 9.

I'm not, so a 7 will have to do.

It's a good cop movie.

INNOCENCE UNPROTECTED

Indescribable. It's wonderful, but how do describe a movie that's about a movie that has a movie in it? I could mention the athlete, the Nazi occupation, liberation, but since this movie is barely over an hour I suggest you add it to your queue and watch it.

And if you're one of those "I don't like black and white movie" suck it up and give this a spin anyway. It's a bit of a roller coaster ride, but it is also a gem.

yeah I loved Black Swan. When it was over I realized that I had just sat through, and utterly enjoyed a film about ballet. Think about THAT!

Also, show me a man who says he's never had a crush on Portman and I'll show you a friggin' liar.

Black Swan is great. I like how it is left open to interpretation and for all we know Natalie may have lived and it all was in her head.
