Reading opinions on the internet (including my own) make me scared for the future of the human race.

Reading opinions on the internet (including my own) make me scared for the future of the human race.

Internet culture seems to strongly encourage hyperbolic opinions I think. When there's that many posts floating around, it's easy to get lost. Nobody cares about reasonable, middle of the road opinions, everything's gotta be slammed hard to the extreme and controversial or else it doesn't get any attention. The bigger a forum, the worse this seems to be.

At least that's how I see it.

You are more than likely right, but I still can't help but beat my head on the table at times... kinda like when my friends try to get into conversations about relationships with me. Just beat my head into the table and act like I don't hear.

I had that same problem too. I didn't know what FTFY was.

I just thought it meant FIFTY like the number. I dont think i'm dyslexic, but I do have some tendencies.

And I thought FTFY was some kind of inside joke here.

Why don't women wear skirts/dresses that often anymore? They also don't wear dark panty hose (tights, for any Brits), but I've come to understand the reasoning behind that.
