Great question. I have no answer as I haven't played it though.isiolia wrote: What about the Prime Trilogy version, which uses a different scheme?

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Each time I've created a new Shepard for a Mass Effect run, I've purposely aimed to explore different plot decisions in order to experience more of the game. Even after three full playthroughs, though, there are some things I've consistently resisted doing because I just couldn't bring myself to take the action. This is how I decided that my fourth Shep's purpose was going to be in breaking those trends and Doing What I Thought Could Not Be Done. I really had to really commit myself to this too, because I knew I'd back out otherwise.
So, long story short, last night I did the unforgivable. And guys... I cried like a baby. Just saying.

Although apparently not if you just leave your PS4 on for like twelve hours...dsheinem wrote:Bloodborne is hard.

That's funny. I totally committed genocide my first time. Didn't feel a thing at all.Key-Glyph wrote:So, long story short, last night I did the unforgivable. And guys... I cried like a baby. Just saying.

For whatever reason, that whole mission is deeply moving to me. I don't even like the process of getting to the endgame, what with all the enemies I have to kill along the way. And if I do the Listening Post mission toward the end, depending on what time of night it is and how much sleep I've gotten the night before, I'll sometimes basically weep through that, too.
I am perhaps more attached to this race of aliens than the average player?
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Damn right I had Wrex. I tend to prefer the heavy hitters, and Wrex definitely fit the bill. My personal path in a lot of games are less "save the universe" and more "kill and skullfuck anything in my way." Every action I take is a "I'm not stuck in here with you, you're stuck in here with me" kind of thing.Key-Glyph wrote:Ack wrote:That's funny. I totally committed genocide my first time. I can see that being a factor in favor.

We need more games where I get to play a genocidal space pirate.

I'm always willing to expand the crew of the pain train.MrPopo wrote:We should hang out more.Ack wrote: My personal path in a lot of games are less "save the universe" and more "kill and skullfuck anything in my way." Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I remember seeing some data Bioware published on the kinds of choices people make in their RPGs. It turns out that the vast majority of people go for the good (as in non-evil) ending on their first playthrough, though the evil playthrough is popular for a second run. I personally always go for the evil choices; good is the default for most things without choice so it's refreshing, and it's also contrary to how I'd probably actually act in those situations if they came up in real life.Ack wrote:I'm always willing to expand the crew of the pain train.MrPopo wrote:We should hang out more.Ack wrote: My personal path in a lot of games are less "save the universe" and more "kill and skullfuck anything in my way." My Shepard ended up basically being a more homicidal Malcolm Reynolds, though I hadn't seen Firefly or Serenity until after ME2. I was fiercely loyal to my crew but much more self centered when engaging with people at large. And I loved ME2's reacts that let me shoot people when they were monologing.
