I was wearing my Canadian-flag toque as I was eating it, does that count? Besides, northern Vermont may as well be Canada, for all intents and purposes xD

I mean, am I glad I did it? Yes. It tasted amazing. I'm also going to use it as impetus to finally get to the gym again, because good lord, that was a lot of artery-clogging goodness

I had a chance to have poutine last night, proud of myself for avoiding it.

I miss working with Canadians. Whenever they'd go back to Canada to visit family they'd bring back a big box of the Tim Horton's donut holes for the office. It makes me sad there's no Dunkin Donuts out here.

Top Pot is awesome, I won't disagree. But it's like how I still like to have boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese in the house, even though I can (and have) made mac & cheese from scratch. There's just something that hits all the right things for me, even though objectively the Top Pot/scratch mac & cheese is better.

I totally agree with your example, but doughnuts are different for me. I want them to be great or I don't want them at all. I get the mac & cheese or McDonald's or other similar arguments though.
