suddenly 99% of this board feel like old men.
In his defense, these movies are now 30+ years old!

Glad to have you on board Jokerman. If you like films we have a good thread going here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... =15&t=7221. It's quite long, but if you read through it you'll get a good list of recommendations for other "old" (and new) films. I'd recommend working backwards with some great directors - check out Stanly Kubrick's stuff, Francis Ford Coppola, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Frank Capra, John Ford, John Huston, etc. You can't go wrong with plowing through the AFI 100 either (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFI%27s_10 ... Edition%29). Anyway, this is a great place for game and movie lovers alike, so welcome!

I'm Christafur. 20 years old, from seattle area washington. I just started collecting recently, probably from the ridiculous feeling of nostalgia I get, and just being able to look at a shitload of games I own. which Isn't really that much compared to what I've seen on here. I love finding hidden gems, and just regular gems I don't know about because I'm retarded. I'm a sucker for RPGs, Street Fighter, 2-D fighters, Mario Karts, Streets of Rage, Final Fantasy anything really, Kingdom Hearts, Working Designs games, and all the things that everyone should like.

I'm trying to get more involved in the retro gaming community, mostly because once I started getting really interested in collecting, I like to talk about it, and I don't have as many friends as I'd like that I can just TALK to about my fantastic hobby in my opinion. :P

If anyone is in the seattle area, let me know and maybe we can game together sometime, or if anyone in the area has games to sell let me know =)

I'm in the area, little further south. My buddy and I are the only classic gamers we know.

Anyways, I'm Jeff. I've been lurking on this site for about a year or so, thought it about time to chime in. Been gaming since the 2600 days. Currently inventoried my collection, pushing 600 games ranging from NES to 360. PS1 and SNES will always hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to contributing to the community.

Hey all, new guy here! My name is Jeff, 21 and I love retro games and anything that has tech.

I'm working on my NES and SNES Collection, 59 games a piece at the moment! I'm starting to do some "Lets Plays" as well, they are turning out to be really fun to do. Anyways I joined here to talk to like minded folk. So.. hey!

Also, any gamers who live in British Columbia more specifically the Kootenays on here? If so, give me a shout.

Had a friend in the BC area, specifically near Vancouver if I remember. Haven't heard from him in years. Makes me sad.

Either way, welcome aboard.

I'm Robert. 25 years old, from England. My first console was a Master System it was given to me by my uncle who got a Mega Drive at launch. I was a Sega fan boy from that day forward going on to collect all there systems. Fortunately for me one of my friends was a Nintendo fan boy a we would swap systems for the weekend so I never missed out on some of Nintendo's great titles. I bowed out of gaming after the Dreamcast era as loose women, fast cars and bikes took over my life. I'm currently unsure witch systems to start collecting but I have a N64 and OG Xbox to keep me going for now.
