What I love about Gamestop:

I go in and buy games like Hyperdimension Neptunia, Atelier Rorona, Ar tonelico, Xenosaga, and Radiant Historia and the clerk asks "Hey broski you wanna RESERVE Gears of Shit 3? How about Grey-and-fecal-colored shooter #87487878782?" Do these people even fucking pay attention to their customers?

Plus, their used PS2 and Gamecube games are in absolute ASS condition right now.

I don't see the problem. I play both indie games and mainstream games like Gears of War 3. Or if you're saying from different genres, surely I'm not the only one that plays games from every different genre from J-RPG to 3rd Person shooter.

They're required to ask you if you want Gears of War or some other shooter. It's not like they're asking because they're friendly and think you want it. :|

Usually a contest between stores for most preorders on a big title. Our store manager went to a party at the Playboy mansion due to us getting the most Conker's Bad Fur Day reservations in the district way back when.

I dunno, I've been to Gamestops where the employee actually thinks about what I am buying, and reffers games that are similar. Its not like they are clone soldiers, you are going to get good service at some, and bad at others. Happens in any retail store.

I'll tell you one thing about GameStop that's not bad, and certainly not ugly...

ALL OF THE CUTE GIRLS WHO WORK THERE! My god, I'm not sure if it's just my area, but there are so many hot, young, alternative girls at the shops around here. A cute girl is a cute girl, but a cute girl working at a game store (GameStop or not) has enough power to make me stumble over my words as I pre-order Skyward Sword (did she really have to offer me a high five? I nearly fainted). If only I had just a little more game (pardon the pun), and a little less of a girlfriend already  ...

Here's to you, cute GameStop girls of the nation - here's to you.

I just have a bunch of really geeky looking guys at mine that seem to be hygenically challenged. Can we trade?

If you feel faint every time a cute girl gives you a high five you need to work on your social skills.
