Haha, that's awesome!

Reminds me: the other week one of the my teacher colleagues was complaining about the fact that the "weird DVD player" she got from her brother-in-law didn't seem to work. I took one look at it and knew why: it was a CD-I!!!

Its Nintendo Month
I have been lucky, first the spare Gamecube Component Cable for five bucks, then Metroid Trilogy for forty. Hopefully Cubivore arrives soon. Meanwhile getting hooked on GC Pikimin and tempted to look up the Wii version. Then there is Wind Walker waiting for me to complete the Wind Temple level. Help me! Nintendo is drowning my free time!

Yesterday, got Mega Man: Robosaur Park on VHS at Goodwill for $1. It was super cheesy and cliche, but worth watching for a laugh and the great theme song.

Got this for less than the cost of the SATURN-JP disc version.

It was a gamble, no pic provided and described as "Asia" region (which is diff. than Japan - typically refers to vietnam / china / taiwan, etc). Seller being from Taiwan made my questions difficult to answer and vice versa.

So I wasn't quite sure what this entailed, was it an official TAITO sanctioned cart, would it be compatible w/my mobo's? etc. Short version, everything is completely legit, PCB looks exactly the same as US/JP/EUR versions, casing, quality, etc all perfect - a product fully overseen by TAITO and I got it for 1/3 the price of the US/JP versions, shipped from Taiwan! Super pleased w/this find.

Picked two DC titles to add to my collection today at a BnM store I happen to stop by...

King Of Fighters 2002: $40 (not so much of a bargain sure but it's in minty condition with OBI strip and my very last KOF title missing in my DC catalog. Love that artbox btw :D)

Zero Gunner 2: $15 (now this is an awesome deal! CIB, amazing condition)

Nice! I'm not a big fan of the ps1, but am jealous of Einhander and Tobal no1. Also, Bloody Roar 2 is one of my favorite fighters, best one in the series IMO.
