Hmm, looks intriguing. What did you use for your rotary experience?fastbilly1 wrote: I thought that, until I played Typhoon 2001 with a rotary controller. You know, on a better gaming pc...

There is the PC Tempest 2000 version as well that can work with PC Mice and Trakballs. Though not a true Spinner Dial, PS1 Tempest X also works great with the PS1 Mouse and Nyco Trakball. The same result of the quick spin around the track and stop on a dime.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I may cave and get one sooner rather than later.dsheinem wrote:The Jaguar is worth it for Tempest 2000 with a rotary controller alone.
I love Atari systems (obviously).
However, I still don't think I could ever justify a Jaguar CD purchase.

Or y'know... when I decide to further slim down my collection. But so far I've been keeping 2600 and beyond, hardware at least, so I don't see it happening yet.
And yeah, I have a CD too because... I don't know, because I'm stupid?
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

The VLM alone is worth it.KalessinDB wrote:And yeah, I have a CD too because... I don't know, because I'm stupid?

Bone, not sure if you *care* about this, but I think JagCD is the only way to get into Jaguar homebrew. Just saying.
One thing I haven't wondered about in the past (but not recently enough to know a recent answer) is if there's any decent emulation of Jaguar... Pretty much the only console games I buy anymore are disc-based ones that I can play on PC. Always fun to find another library to add to that potential pool.
